What Is a Brand?
A brand represents a single franchise concept within your organization. Each brand operates independently with its own data, workflows, and configuration, so you can manage multiple franchise concepts without any overlap between them.
What each brand includes
What's included depends on your organization's plan.
Every brand, on any plan, has its own:
- Sales pipeline: track and manage franchise applicants through your sales process.
- Applicant portal: a dedicated portal where prospective franchisees learn about the brand, submit applications, and interact with your team.
- Library: store brand-specific documents and files.
- Settings: brand-level configuration for identity, appearance, scheduling, team access, and connections (domains, integrations, webhooks).
Organizations on the Full plan also get:
- Marketing audiences: build and segment marketing lists, run automated marketing workflows.
- Operations: manage franchisee audiences, locations, vendors, catalog items, manuals, and courses.
Organizations on the Lite plan are focused on franchise development. They don't include Marketing audiences or Operations, since those modules manage franchisees after they've already opened.
If you're not sure which plan your organization is on, ask your organization admin.
How brands relate to organizations
A brand sits within an organization.
The organization is the parent container. It handles billing and team management.
Each brand under it manages its own day-to-day franchise operations. An organization can hold multiple brands, and each brand's data stays isolated from the others.

Switching between brands
If you have access to more than one brand, you can switch between them from the dashboard. Your view, data, and settings update to reflect the selected brand. The brands you see depend on the permissions your organization admin has granted you.

Brand setup
When you add a new brand (either during onboarding or later), you go through a brand identity setup process where you configure:
- Brand name and description
- Logo, banner, and favicon
- Color palette
- Social media links (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube)
- Contact information and address
These details appear across the applicant portal and in communications sent on behalf of the brand.

Where to find brand settings
You can open settings from any screen. Click your profile picture at the bottom of the sidebar, then choose Settings.

Brand configuration lives under Brand in your settings, split into five pages: Profile, Appearance, Scheduling, Team & Access, and Connections.
Profile holds your brand's identity fields (name, industry, contact email, phone, website, address). Below that sit Brand voice, which teaches the AI how to write emails on your behalf, and Associated organizations, the organizations this brand is shared with.
Connections is where domain sending, campaign attribution tracking, app integrations, and webhooks live.

Organizations on the Lite plan see a shorter Brand nav: only Profile and Appearance. Lite's Profile page swaps Associated organizations for Campaign attribution, since Lite brands don't share across organizations the way Full plan brands can.
